Full Mouth Dental Implants

Here at Space Dental, we cover all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. Our treatments for single and full dental implants are designed to be a more permanent replacement for other tooth loss solutions, such as dentures or plates, and are a much more reliable option for tooth replacement.

What are full mouth dental implants?

Full mouth dental implants are for patients who have little to no teeth left in their jaws. Any teeth that are left over will be removed and implants will be placed, on top of the implants, temporary teeth will be fitted and screwed in place before composite bonding is added over the top to cover over the implants.

After a period of time where the implants are able to knit to the jawbone, permanent teeth will be fitted to the Implants.

This procedure is also known as All-on4 | All-on-6 | teeth in a day | immediate load teeth.

All-on-4 and All-on-6 name relate to the number of implants that are used in the procedure if a person has a dense jaw bone they will generally have 4 implants placed (all-on-4) if the patient has a weaker more porous jawbone 6 implants would be placed (all-on-6).

What is the process for full mouth implants?

irst things first, you will need to have a consultation with our clinicians to ensure that you are suitable for the procedure. During this appointment, you will also be able to ask any questions that you may have although you can ask questions any time you like!

Once you have attended your consultation and you are happy to go ahead you will be booked in for your procedure.

On the day of your procedure, you will have any teeth removed that are left over, implants will be placed and then some temporary teeth will be attached to the implants so that you have had them placed. Where the top of the implants is some white composite bonding will be placed over the top so that you can not feel any of the implants.

You will leave the clinic with teeth in place!

After your procedure, you will come back into the clinic for a check-up and make sure that your implants are healing properly.

8 weeks after your procedure you will come back to the clinic to have your final teeth fitted.
