Dr Affan heads the team at Space Dental as their Clinical Director, carefully selecting clinicians who specialise in transformative dental treatments such as composite bonding, teeth straightening, and dental implants. At Space Dental, patient care and professionalism are the top priorities.

Recognized for his exceptional work, Dr Affan was awarded the prestigious titles of Young Dentist of the Year at both the Private Dentistry Awards in London and the Dentistry Awards in Leicester in 2022.

With over 1800 Invisalign Go cases completed, Dr Affan is a global leader in providing clear aligner treatment. His approach to smile makeovers involves minimal invasive dentistry, using tooth alignment, whitening, and direct/indirect restorations to contour the perfect smile. As an international lecturer for Invisalign/Align and composite direct restoration courses, Dr Affan has taught in various countries, including the USA, Asia, and Europe. He is also a teaching faculty member for the ACE postgraduate diploma course in England, UK. Dr Affan’s contributions to the dental industry extend beyond his clinical work, having served as the Chairman Elect for the British Dental Association in West Yorkshire.

As a dentist, my passion lies in creating beautiful smiles through minimally invasive procedures. Orthodontics and composite bonding are my favourite areas of expertise, and I derive immense satisfaction from helping my patients achieve their dream smile.

My journey into dentistry started with a personal experience – having suffered from terrible teeth myself, I underwent dental treatment that transformed my confidence and happiness. As a result, I decided to become a dentist myself, so I could help others experience the same positive change.

As a practitioner, I am known for my calm, caring, and reassuring demeanour. I graduated from the esteemed University of Sheffield, followed by a foundation training in Nottingham. I then pursued restorative post-graduate training at the Royal London Hospital, and later completed an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) training year at Pinderfields Hospital. Over the years, I have provided fixed braces (both clear and metal) to over 150 patients each year, and clear aligner treatment (Invisalign) to over 200 patients annually since 2017. As the orthodontic lead at Space, I take pride in my ability to help my patients achieve their desired outcomes.

Composite bonding has been another area of expertise for me since 2016, with over 200 cases annually and around 2000 composites performed each year. To keep up with the latest developments in dentistry, I have attended many postgraduate courses both locally and internationally.

When I’m not at work, I love travelling and spending quality time with my 8-month-old daughter.

My commitment to excellence is underscored by my recent distinction in the diploma in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, obtained last year. This year, I am expanding my capabilities by training with the British Academy of Implant Dentistry, equipping me to provide implant solutions for missing teeth, ensuring you have comprehensive dental care within reach.

In 2014, Dr Joe Norris graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Dental Surgery. He is currently the Lead Implant Dentist at Space Dental and has a strong passion for cosmetic dentistry. Dr Joe has earned a postgraduate certificate in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, along with other postgraduate accolades. He is currently pursuing his Implant Masters at Versilia Hospital in Italy.

Dr Joe specialises in smile design and has an incredible talent for transforming teeth in ways that can significantly impact his patients’ lives. He takes great pride in using the latest techniques and combining treatments such as Dental Implants, Composite Bonding, Porcelain Veneers, and Crowns to achieve the best results.

Furthermore, Dr Joe is passionate about improving the appearance of crooked teeth and utilises cosmetic tooth straightening systems like Invisalign, 6 Month Smiles Fixed Braces, and Inman Aligner. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the best possible results and takes great joy in seeing his patients’ smiles transformed.

At Space Dental, Dr Sam specialises in cosmetic dentistry. He is a highly skilled dentist who has earned several accolades for his work. In 2017, he won the regional heat of the Clinical Skills Competition at The University of Sheffield. He also made it to the Grand Final of the RCSEd Dentsply Sirona Dental Clinical Skills Competition that same year.

Dr Sam is a former Secretary for the British Dental Association West Yorkshire and has a passion for orthodontics and minimally invasive dentistry. To enhance his skills and provide the best possible care for his patients, he has completed various courses in restorative dentistry, composite bonding, and porcelain veneers.

Currently, Dr Sam is undertaking the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry (BAIRD) Implant Evidence based and clinical course to further advance his knowledge and skills in implant dentistry. Dr mehreen

Dr. Mehreen specialises in both General and Cosmetic Dentistry, offering comprehensive dental care to her patients. She earned her degree from Newcastle Dental School in 2016 and holds a BSc in Medical Physiology. Currently, she is pursuing a Diploma in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, further honing her skills in the field.

Beyond her work, Dr. Mehreen has a passion for travelling and discovering new destinations. She is also an animal lover and enjoys spending her free time with her two beloved cats, Gizmo and Oreo, to unwind after a long day.
